The first real summer thunderstorm, a beautiful thing in itself, sailed through Connecticut on Wednesday evening. The wind blew, the light turned the trees a weird yellow-green, and dry ground soaked wet in a matter of seconds. Mae took advantage of the wet ground to make an amazing shadow.
The circles are raindrops on my camera lens, but they look pretty cool. Actually, Mae says, "They aren’t raindrops on your camera. I just have mystical, magical orbs floating around me all the time."
